A Blouse Permitted to Wear
Question
I wanted to ask regarding a woman’s blouse: what is considered “tight-fitting” and therefore forbidden.
The question concerns a blouse that is not very tight on the body, but the shape of the body is still noticeable (though not in an attractive way). The question is whether it is necessary that the body’s shape not be visible at all. Or, if the shape (curves) is noticeable but it is not truly tight-fitting, is that already acceptable?
Answer
Shalom u’vrachah.
The response of our teacher, Rabbi Amram Fried shlita:
If the shape of the body is clearly noticeable, it is forbidden.
