The HaGomel Blessing After Childbirth
Question
A woman who has given birth to a daughter: within how much time must she recite the HaGomel blessing, in what manner, and is there any prohibition against leaving the house before she recites it?
Answer
Shalom and blessings.
When she recovers from her weakness, she should recite the blessing. There is no time limit.
Therefore, when she has an opportunity to recite the blessing in the presence of ten men, she should do so.
There is no prohibition against leaving the house before reciting HaGomel.
