She washed dairy dishes with a meat sponge
Question
Shalom u’vracha
My daughter washed dairy dishes with a meat sponge. I touched the water, and it was hot to the degree that the hand recoils (yad soledet bo). Regarding the dishes, I do not think they had been used within the previous 24 hours, but I cannot say that with 100% certainty. What is the halacha?

Even if the water was at the temperature of yad soledet bo, the utensil is not rendered forbidden.
