Waiting After Tasting a Meat Dish

Question

I have a pot of cholent, and I want to taste it to know whether I added enough salt. If I do not taste the meat itself, will I be considered “meaty”?

Answer

Hello and blessings

If you only put it in your mouth to taste it without chewing, and you spit out the food without swallowing, you will not need to wait 6 hours.
