Challah heated on a meat pot and transferred to a hot-water urn

Question

Shalom and blessings. A challah (pareve bread) was placed on the lid of a meat pot that was on the hot plata, and afterwards the challah was moved onto the hot-water urn (micham). What is the status of the urn regarding meat and dairy, and may it continue to be used as usual? (The lid was closed, but it has two small holes for steam to escape.) Thank you very much.

Answer

Shalom and blessings

The hot-water urn (micham) remains pareve.

It is permitted to heat water in it for use with dairy.
