Moving a Vessel in Which a Candle Was Burning at the Onset of Shabbat
Question
A decorative glass vessel for the table, in which a wax candle is placed and which is filled with water: may it be moved on Shabbat after the candle has gone out?
Answer
Shalom u’vrachah.
It is forbidden to move it on Shabbat.
Since it was muktzeh [a base for the flame] during bein hashmashot.
