Tribute event funded from maaser money?

Is it permitted to use maaser money to buy a ticket for a tribute evening at which singers perform, when it is explicitly stated that all proceeds are designated for the life‑saving activities of Magen David Adom?

One may not purchase such a ticket with maaser money. Magen David Adom is a profit‑making organization that is entirely funded by the state and the health funds.
The donations are for supplementing its budget, not directly for saving lives.
[You did not ask this, but I must add: there is no halachic permission to attend the performance even with your own money. This is an event that is not expected to be conducted “in a purely holy manner.”]
