Giving Maaser Before Receiving One’s Salary

Is it permissible to give maaser from money that I am supposed to receive but have not yet received?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah. 

One may give the maaser before receiving the salary, and the tzedakah will be effective for the time when you receive the salary.
