Intention in Commandments

Question

Hello, it is known that intention in commandments is very important. To what extent should a person strive: - to direct intention on every action before approaching it (for example, eating) - or to direct intention every second on every action (continuing with eating, to direct intention right before every bite)?

Hello 

There are many levels in this, one above the other. 

The most important thing is that a person does not skip to levels that do not belong to him. 

As in life, skipping steps leads to painful falls...
